Swami Vivekanand defines education as “Education is the manifestation of perfection already in the man”. Department of Electrical Engineering, established in 1957, one of the oldest departments in the institute, always put efforts to bring out the perfection in the students’ activities.

Department has strong academic and placement record. Department has well equipped laboratories and computer facilities with power back-up. Department has dedicated faculty and staff. Department has well-coordinated and productive learning resources to create educational ambience so as to develop morally, ethically self-righteous electrical technicians having competitive knowledge and skills. Department offers on interactive learning environment with appropriate blending of theory and practical so that matriculated aspirant is transformed into electrical technician, who can face each and every challenge in industrial situations and society.
